The exquisite country of Honduras is truly a treasure—there’s the Caribbean Coast with its clean, sandy beaches, crystal blue water, world famous snorkeling and diving, the mysteries of the deep rain forest. There are wildlife refuges with endangered species, Manatees, ancient Mayan Ruins, Howler Monkeys, and native villages tucked away in the countryside. 

The warm climate and water temperature (generally around 80°F) make Honduras an ideal destination for paddling. The rivers range from easy Class I runs to technical Class IV-V for advanced paddlers.

Bob has designed his trip for those who truly want to experience the beauty and culture of Honduras on an intimate level. All details of your Honduran adventure are arranged for you—all you have to do is get there! 

Bob Foote will be your trip leader, accompanied by Ríos Honduras, a premiere adventure outfitting company founded several years ago by a group of River Guides and Instructors. Ríos Honduras will take care of all the logistics, including your lodging, meals, transportation, shuttles, boats, and camping gear. They have a state-of-the-art fleet of canoes and kayaks, tents, thick sleeping pads, and camping gear for overnight trips. All you have to do is bring your own personal clothing, necessities, and boating gear.

The cost of Trip 1 is $1575/person or $1615 if you include the diving package. Trip 2 is $1500/person and because of a different itinerary, there is no diving package. All prices are based on double occupancy, single rooms are available for an additional $250. Prices do not include airfare to and from Honduras.
